The wellbeing of the metropolitan region depends on the Collserola, which fosters biodiversity and functions as Barcelona’s green lung. The life-giving force of this natural jewel is complemented by the illustrious presence of the Monastery of Sant Cugat, a 9th century Benedictine Abbey that is the cluster’s main venue.
