The website https://manifesta15.org (the “Ticket Sales Website”) is the property of FUNDACIÓ MANIFESTA 15 BARCELONA (the “FOUNDATION”), tax identification number G72783343, with address at La Rambla, 99, CP: 08002, Barcelona. It is a foundation registered on the 19th of December 2020 in the Registry of Foundations of the Generalitat de Catalunya with the number 3315.

The ticket sales service is provided by the FOUNDATION through a platform managed by CCALGIR, S.L., with a registered office in Girona (Avinguda Sant Francesc, 13 baixos), PC: 17001, and tax identification number B17845116, registered in the Commercial Registry of Girona, at Sheet GI-37940 Volume 2269, Page 132, Section 8ª.

Access to and use of this Ticket Sales Website imply the knowledge and acceptance of the general terms and conditions of use of the https://manifesta15.org website, as well as the following specific terms and conditions.

SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE TICKET SALES WEBSITE

Through the Ticket Sales Website, users can book and purchase tickets for scheduled exhibitions and other activities organised by the FUNDACIÓN MANIFESTA 15 BARCELONA. The advance ticket sales service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Nevertheless, the FOUNDATION may impose a temporary or permanent suspension at any moment, without prior notice, on advance sales for some or all of the tickets for the scheduled exhibitions, temporary exhibitions or other events organised by the FOUNDATION.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF TICKETS

Users of this website may purchase their tickets in advance based on the instructions indicated at the top of the page. Tickets acquired via the website shall have the same value as if they had been purchased at the box office of the MANIFESTA 15 BARCELONA METROPOLITANA. The user of the website can:

Print out the tickets on paper, ensuring they are correctly printed and that the codes identifying and individualising each ticket are legible.

Download the file sent by email in .pdf format to the user’s mobile terminal and show it at the entrance of Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana.

Download the tickets received by email in passbook format.

The tickets will give the holder the right to access the venue for which they were purchased and will be valid under the conditions applicable to each type of ticket. Tickets are not subject to exchanges, and refunds are not possible.

The ticket(s) are issued in accordance with the regulations for visits to the multiple venues where Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana will take place. Full details are available on our website. The FOUNDATION reserves the right to require visitors of Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana to show their national identity card or passport to check their identity, control access to Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana and ensure the lawful use of the advance ticket sales service on the website. The FOUNDATION may also require users who have purchased a special ticket at a reduced price due to age or any other circumstance existing at the time of purchase to prove such circumstances.

By purchasing multiple tickets for Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana, the purchaser ("Purchaser") agrees that these terms and conditions apply to all ticket holders ("Attendees"). The Purchaser must inform all Attendees of these terms and conditions. All Attendees are bound by these terms as if they had purchased the tickets themselves.

These General Terms and Conditions of Purchase do not and shall not affect your legal rights as a consumer. For further information about your legal rights, please contact the Spanish Consumer Affairs, Food Safety and Nutrition Agency (AECOSAN).

LIMITATIONS OF USE

Users accessing this website are authorised to view all its information and content, as well as to carry out downloads (hereinafter “download") or private reproductions of it on their terminals or on any data recording storage medium, provided that the reproduced items are intended solely for the personal use of the user and are not subsequently transferred or transmitted to third parties. In addition, the use of the website by the user to purchase tickets for subsequent resale at the same or another price is strictly forbidden.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE SERVICE

Each user is responsible for providing their data correctly during the ticket purchasing processes via our website. By following the procedure requested online during the process of purchasing tickets, the user is deemed expressly and wholly to accept the conditions of service and regulations for visits to Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana.

ENQUIRIES AND COMPLAINTS REGARDING THE TICKET SALES SERVICE

RETURNS POLICY

In general, no changes or returns are permitted. Once tickets have been purchased, they cannot be changed or reimbursed except in cases where the FOUNDATION is unable to provide the service due to unforeseen circumstances for which the user is not accountable. Reimbursements will be carried out by the same method as the one used for payment.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

The purchase amount will not be refunded under any circumstances.

TERMS OF ACCESS

To guarantee the rights of the users and the best performance of the Ticket Sales Website, the FOUNDATION may:

a. Monitor the service at all times, whilst respecting the privacy of the users. b. Temporarily interrupt the service, without prior notice and at any time, for technological or legal reasons. c. Amend the terms for providing the service. d. Block access to or use of the service by a user who has used it incorrectly or in relation to whom fraudulent use of the service or means of payment is suspected.

Furthermore, the FOUNDATION will file the electronic document in which the purchases are formalised, which will not be accessible to the visitor. The FOUNDATION reserves the right to ask users to show due accreditation when they have acquired free or reduced tickets on the website.

RESPONSIBILITY

The FOUNDATION takes no responsibility for damages and losses of any kind occasioned by causes beyond the institution’s control. In particular, the FOUNDATION will not take responsibility for damages and losses resulting from unavailability of the website or of the payment systems agreed with the banking institutions, errors in these systems of payment, the transmission of viruses or malicious or harmful software owing to attacks by third parties, or the information, opinions or contents of any type included in other websites not managed directly by the FOUNDATION.

Furthermore, the FOUNDATION takes no responsibility for possible damages and losses of any kind produced by any interruption, error, or fault caused in the system by malfunctioning of the internet or of the servers connected to it, or by the lack of availability or continuity in the functioning of the service. AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND TO THE WEBSITE

The FOUNDATION reserves the right to make any changes it deems appropriate to these terms and conditions, the website, and the services provided at any time, without prior notification. Consequently, the FOUNDATION may change, delete or add the contents and services that are provided through the website, such as the way in which the website is displayed or located, or provisionally or definitively suspend its operation. For any aspects not specifically provided for in these Specific Terms and Conditions, the same general terms and conditions set out in the Legal Notice of the main page of the website https://manifesta15.org shall apply to this service.

FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE

In the event that Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana is delayed, rescheduled, postponed, or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Foundation, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather conditions, fire, flood, earthquake, war, terrorism, government restrictions or

regulations, strikes, labour disputes, pandemics, epidemics, public health emergencies, civil commotion, or any other event or circumstance that renders the performance

of the Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana impracticable, illegal, or impossible (each, a "Force Majeure Event"), the FOUNDATION shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense incurred by ticket holders.

In such circumstances, the FOUNDATION will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana or specific programme elements for a later date. If rescheduling is not possible, the FOUNDATION may, at its sole discretion, offer refunds or alternative arrangements as deemed appropriate, subject to applicable laws and regulations.

Ticket holders are advised to check the Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana official website and communication channels regularly for updates regarding any changes due to force majeure events. The FOUNDATION reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Force Majeure Clause at any time without prior notice.

Article 1.2: Information and availability of tickets

1.2.1. The term “tour ticket” refers to all ticketing options, in all price rates and electronic or physical form, to access any of the Mediated Tours offered by Manifesta 15 Barcelona during the period of the 8th of September and 24th of November of 2024.

1.2.2. The prices of tickets are indicated in euros (€), all sales taxes included.

1.2.3. The availability of preferred dates (day, time) provided on the booking form depends on receiving written confirmation from Manifesta 15 Barcelona in the form of a tour ticket.

1.2.4. In order to access the Mediated Tour it is essential to purchase a valid ticket for each person attending the tour, which must be purchased separately, before or after purchasing the Mediated Tour.

Article 1.3: Purchase of tickets

1.3.1. A tour ticket order may only be processed by completing the booking form available on the Mediated Tours page in the Manifesta 15 Barcelona website and by providing at least an email address, the Mediated Tour preferred option, the preferred date (day, time), the city of residence of the attendees, number of attendees and the preferred language of the Mediated Tour.

1.3.2. Manifesta 15 Barcelona reserves the right to accept a preferred date (day, time) by means of a confirmation letter or suggest an alternative date (day, time) without cause or motive.

1.3.3. After validation of their preferred date by means of a confirmation letter, a payment link will be provided to the Ticket Buyer. The Ticket Buyer will be redirected to a third party service provider (CaixaBank).

The following payment options will be accepted:

  • Most common credit cards or co-branded debit cards.

1.3.4. Manifesta 15 Barcelona reserves the right to cancel a tour ticket order if full payment has not been processed fifteen (15) days after receiving the link of payment.

Article 1.4: Cancellation and Reimbursement by the Ticket Buyer

1.4.1 The cancellation by the Ticket Buyer, as well as any alteration to the essential reservation details (date or Group Tour option) must be communicated via email at least fifteen (15) days before the date stated in the tour ticket. Otherwise, Manifesta 15 Barcelona reserves the right not to reimburse the cost of the paid tour ticket.

1.4.2. If the refund request for a tour ticket is accepted, the Ticket Buyer will be reimbursed within thirty (30) days from the date of receiving written approval from Manifesta 15 Barcelona.

1.4.3. A tour ticket may not be transferred, exchanged, or resold.

Article 1.5: Cancellation and Reimbursement by Manifesta 15 Barcelona

1.5.1. Manifesta 15 Barcelona undertakes to inform the public of exceptional, temporary, or permanent closures, postponements and/or cancellations by all the following means of communication: information at the front desk and information points, social networks and institutional website, as well as other partner information channels. Manifesta 15 Barcelona also undertakes to contact, as soon as possible, the Ticket Buyers likely to be affected by a reimbursement request process.

Article 1.6: Request for Reimbursement of a Tour Ticket

1.6.1. Requests for reimbursement must be made in writing before November 10, 2024 by email to the address: engage@manifesta.org.

1.6.2. Manifesta 15 Barcelona undertakes to respond in writing within two (2) working days following the date of receipt of the refund request. In the event of acceptance, the refund will be made automatically on the same payment method used in purchasing the ticket.

1.6.3. The right to reimbursement belongs exclusively to the Ticket Buyer and is not transferable.

1.6.4. In all cases, only the price of the tour ticket will be refunded and no costs of any other kind (including travel or accommodation) will be refunded or compensated.

Article 1.7: Issuance of tickets

1.7.1. The tour tickets issued are provided with a unique confirmation letter, valid for the confirmed Mediated Tour option. The validity of tour tickets is checked and recorded at the start of the Mediated Tour by the Manifesta 15 Barcelona staff. Reproduction of tour tickets is prohibited.

1.7.2. Manifesta 15 Barcelona may refuse entry to the event when several prints, reproductions, copies or imitations of a printed tour ticket are in circulation and access to the Mediated Tour has already been previously granted to the buyer of a printed or electronic tour ticket.

1.7.3. Manifesta 15 Barcelona declines all responsibility for anomalies that may occur during the ordering, processing or printing of the tour ticket insofar as it has not caused them intentionally or as a result of negligence in the event of loss, theft or unlawful use of the tour ticket.

Article 1.8: Loss, theft or damage to a ticket

1.8.1. In the event of loss, theft of damage to the e-ticket, the Ticket Buyer can either reprint the eticket or request a new one by sending an email to engage@manifesta.org.

1.8.2. Only one duplicate may be issued per Ticket Buyer.

Conditions of entry

We welcome everyone to Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana venues and the surrounding areas we manage, and we ask that you adhere to the entry conditions below.

We want you to have an exceptional experience, and we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring your safety and the safety of those around you.

These entry conditions apply to all individuals accessing Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana venues, including:

  • Manifesta 15 visitors.
  • Any person or group authorised to use the Manifesta 15 spaces for meetings, conferences, performances or other activities.
  • Any external individuals present at the venues, including for professional reasons.

We reserve the right to deny entry or remove anyone from the Manifesta 15 venues and the surrounding areas we manage who does not comply with these Conditions.

To ensure our visitor safety measures are kept up to date, we reserve the right to modify these Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Prior registration:

  • Due to limited capacity at certain venues and events, Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana strongly recommends booking your time slot in advance where applicable. Check the different tickets and reservations you might need here.
  • Your Manifesta 15 ticket does not guarantee the entry if the venue is at full capacity upon your arrival.
  • We ask that you arrive promptly at your reserved time at Casa Gomis and for mediated tours.
  • In case of late arrival, your entry to the venue is not guaranteed.
  • The opening hours of Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana's venues will be communicated on the website and in the media it deems appropriate.
  • Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana may, for reasons of conservation, security or other circumstances, modify these opening hours.

When entering the Manifesta 15 venues:

You are required to comply with the following before being granted entry:

  1. Carry a valid ticket or accreditation in the three ticketed venues: The Three Chimneys, Casa Gomis, and Monastery of Sant Cugat.
  2. Provide your postal code at the entrance to any of the venues if the staff of Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana requests it.
  3. Present a valid form of ID at the entrance together with the ticket if the staff of Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana requests it.
  4. Individuals eligible for discounts or exemptions on the ticket price must present a valid accreditation at the entrance. Otherwise, the full price will be charged.
  5. Ensure that individuals under 16 are always accompanied by an adult. Help us explain to younger visitors that some works are fragile and cannot be touched.
  6. Follow the instructions of staff managing queues outside or inside the venues.
  7. Manifesta 15 gives priority entry to individuals with reduced mobility and their companions in the access queues to the venues.

Once inside Manifesta 15 venues:

  • Keep your ticket with you and present it to staff whenever necessary during your visit.
  • Your Manifesta 15 ticket does not guarantee entrance to the spaces or activities that require prior reservation. Check the different tickets and reservations you might need here.
  • The occasional closure of any room or part of a venues for maintenance or service needs will not result in discounts or refunds of the ticket price.
  • Follow the Conditions of the visit.

Leaving the Manifesta 15 venues:

  • The last entrance time at Manifesta 15 venues is at 19.30 however it may differ during special events.
  • Venues will be closed at 20.00. This time can differ during special events.
  • When leaving the venues, exit in an orderly and appropriate manner.
  • Follow the directions of staff to clear an area.
  • Do not cause undue noise or disruption to the adjacent amenity or neighbourhood properties.

Emergency Procedures:

  • Emergency Exits: Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits upon entering the venue. These are clearly marked throughout each venue.
  • Emergency Services Contact: In case of an emergency, contact our staff immediately or dial the local emergency number (112 in Spain).
  • Evacuation Instructions: Follow all instructions from staff during an emergency. Proceed calmly to the nearest exit and assemble at the designated safe area outside the venue.
  • First Aid: First aid stations are available at all major venues. If you require medical assistance, please alert a member of our staff immediately.
  • Fire Alarms: If you hear the fire alarm, evacuate the building immediately in an orderly fashion. Do not use elevators. Use the stairs and follow the illuminated exit signs.
  • Report Suspicious Activity: If you notice any suspicious activity or unattended items, report it to a member of staff right away.

Conditions during the visit:

You must ensure your behaviour does not interfere with the safety or enjoyment of others.

  • Respectful Conduct: All visitors are expected to behave respectfully towards other visitors, staff, and the artworks. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • No Harassment: Any form of harassment, including verbal, physical, or sexual harassment, will result in immediate removal from the premises and potential legal action.
  • Non-Discrimination: Manifesta 15 is committed to providing an inclusive environment. Discriminatory remarks or actions based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other characteristic are strictly prohibited.
  • Appropriate Interaction: Engage with staff and other visitors in a polite and courteous manner. Disruptive behaviour, such as shouting, aggressive gestures, or refusal to follow staff instructions, is prohibited.
  1. Do not touch or interfere with the artwork or any other objects on display in the experience, unless otherwise indicated.
  2. Climbing on structures or engaging in any dangerous or risky behaviour is not permitted.
  3. All visitors are responsible for their own safety.
  4. Please cooperate with our staff and follow their instructions, which are intended to maximise the safety of the spaces and activities for everyone, including keeping aisles and doorways clear at all times.
  5. There is no dress code for our spaces however nudity, offensive clothing or signage is prohibited. Visitors are asked to wear proper footwear to avoid personal injury.
  6. You agree not to access areas that you are not authorised to do so.
  7. You cannot enter the venues with animals, except for assistance animals.
  8. You agree not to transmit or record any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event for commercial use without the express written permission from the press department (m15press[a]manifesta.org). This may include images and recordings via a mobile phone.
  9. The use of illicit substances and smoking of cigarettes, cigars, vaporisers, and e-cigarettes are prohibited inside the venues and surrounding areas managed by Manifesta 15, including the bathrooms.

If you feel that your enjoyment of an event is being compromised in any way or by the actions of another person, please contact our staff immediately so that we can try and find a solution. We cannot provide a solution after an event has concluded.

Possible removal from a Manifesta 15 venue:

You could be asked to leave the Manifesta 15 spaces if you:

  1. Breach any Condition of Entry.
  2. Cause or may cause damage to property.
  3. Pose or may pose a risk of injury to anyone.
  4. Pose or may pose a threat to the safety of visitors, audience members, our staff or any other individuals.
  5. Unreasonably disrupt or compromise another person's enjoyment of the event.
  6. Behave in a manner deemed offensive, aggressive, unruly, disruptive, disorderly, uncooperative, or unlawful by our staff.
  7. Appear to be under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances, or are suspected of buying, selling, or carrying illicit substances.
  8. Enter any restricted area without proper authorisation.
  9. Refuse to comply with our staff's instructions.

Groups visits:

  • People accompanying groups are responsible for all the members of the group.
  • For Mediated Tours scheduled for a specific time, the group must adhere to the set schedule.
  • The group's late arrival may affect and modify the activity's development if the staff in charge of managing the activity deems it appropriate.
  • Likewise, the group must arrive with sufficient advance time to complete the necessary procedures before the visit.

Phones, Photography and Video Policy:

  • You are invited to take pictures without flash and domestic recordings in all Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana venues.
  • Small hand-held personal cameras or mobile phones with cameras are allowed.
  • The use of tripods and selfie sticks is not allowed.
  • These authorisation does not include the right to the image of people, it is necessary to get their direct consent prior to being photographed or recorded.
  • For professional, large photography or video cameras used for commercial reasons, please contact in advance the Press department at m15press[a]manifesta.org.

Prohibited Items inside the Manifesta 15 venues:

  1. Food or drink is not permitted inside the venues. There is a café service available in some of the venues such as The Three Chimneys or Casa Gomis.
  2. Glass, cans or open drink containers containing non-alcoholic and/or alcoholic drinks
  3. Illegal substances including controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs
  4. Flammable devices (flares, fireworks and smoke bombs)
  5. Anything that could be used as a weapon such as sharp items including knives
  6. Suspicious items or items which may look like a weapon
  7. Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcome. Other animals must remain outdoors.
  8. Bicycles, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades / skates
  9. Unauthorised advertising material or flyers
  10. Felt pens, marker pens, paint or similar items, aerosol canisters
  11. Banners, posters, flags or signs
  12. Professional cameras, tripods or recording devices without prior authorisation
  13. Laser pointers
  14. Offensive signage or clothing
  15. Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
  16. Any other item that may cause harm or public nuisance or could interfere with others in the Manifesta 15 venues.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person found to have any Prohibited Items in their possession.

Use of Your Image:

  • Entering to Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana spaces, you consent to and authorise us to film, record or photograph you, and to reproduce recordings in any audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication, or reproduction in any medium or context for any purpose without further authorisation by, or compensation or attribution to you.
  • All Recordings are our sole property, and you release us from liability arising on account of such usage.

Liability:

  • Entering the building is at your own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, harm, or injury resulting from your visit to the gallery.
  • The Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana shall under no circumstances be responsible for the loss or theft of visitors’ personal items during their visit to any Manifesta 15 Barcelona venue caused by any negligent omission or actions by third parties beyond the control of Manifesta 15 Barcelona.
  • Visitors shall be solely responsible and answerable to Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana and third parties for any damages, imperfections or harm they cause to any venue, or any of their elements and/or third parties during their visit, with no limitation of any sort.
  • Any behaviour or action carried out by a minor under sixteen (16) years old while on the premises shall be the sole responsibility of the adults accompanying that minor. For school visits, the teachers will be solely responsible for the behaviour and actions of the minors in their care.
  • During the visit to the any Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana venues, visitors must diligently follow all rules, instructions and safety indications given by Manifesta 15 staff and/or any others that apply in the course of due diligence and taking suitable precautions. In this regard, Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana shall under no circumstances be responsible for any damages, harm, expense or cost visitors or third parties incur as a result of failure to comply with these rules, indications or instructions, or, in general, any negligent omission or action by visitors or third parties beyond the control of the Manifesta 15.

Your Belongings:

If you bring personal items into the Manifesta 15 venues:

  • You are solely responsible for them.
  • Do not leave bags or personal items unattended.
  • Do not bring any prohibited items (refer to the list above) into Manifesta 15 spaces.

We do not offer cloakroom services.

Manifesta 15 Experiences

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the booking and use of our Manifesta 15 Experiences. By booking a experience you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is only considered confirmed once full payment has been received. Experiences are available from the 8th of September to the 24th of November 2024. Reservation requests for experiences must be made 15 days in advance.

2.2 Payment Requirement: Payment is required to confirm the booking. Invoices will be issued upon confirmation of the booking.

2.3 Payment Deadline: Payments must be made within 7 (seven) days of confirmed availability and booking. Please make the payment within this period to avoid cancelling your booking.

2.4 Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods specified in the invoice. Details for making payments will be provided in the invoice.

3. Non-Refundable Policy

3.1 Non-Refundable Bookings: All bookings are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued once payment has been made and the booking confirmed.

4. Changes to Booking

4.1 Change of Date: While all bookings are non-refundable, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. We will do our best to accommodate a date change for your booking.

4.2 Subject to Availability: Any change of date is subject to availability. If the alternative date proposed is not acceptable to the Client, no refund will be provided.

4.3 Requesting Changes: Please contact us in writing as soon as possible to request a change of date. We will confirm the new date's availability and any additional charges that may apply.
